The most basic of box bottom bags becomes a top-notch Halloween Treat Bag thanks to three Frightful Faces made from Dritz Products and Notions as well as a few bits and pieces from your own scrap stash. We have so many fantastic notions and tools to make our project construction fast, easy, and fun. SO many… everywhere… all over our work space. Time for a bit of tidying up with this Multi-Pocket Table Top Sewing Caddy.

This smaller size duffle (8½” x 15″ x 6”) is great for kids or anyone who wants a space-saving, on-the-go option. We created a soft, quilted exterior so the duffle can gently expand and mold to better fit its contents.

This dynamic fold over backpack is deep enough to hold everything you need and is super comfy to wear. It’s essentially a structured sack! Pick an eye-catching print and put your fussy cutting skills to work for a striking finish.

As we return to outdoor events and festivals, did you know many venues no longer allow closed totes and bags? If you want to carry in a larger bag, it must be see-through. S4H to the rescue with a fashionable solution.

Is there a guy in your life who should be crowned King of the Kitchen? We love Dad Chefs, and this apron is specially designed to suit their style. The body is made from tough canvas and features a full coverage outline.

We’ve done totes and we’ve done yoga mat carriers, but – until this – hadn’t combined the two in such a stylish way. Collect all your gear into a generously sized tote, then use the handy wraparound straps to secure your mat.

A versatile carryall with room to spare. We took inspiration from the heavy duty feed sack fabric of the early 1900s to create a look that’s nostalgically trendy and eye-catching but in a hardworking modern canvas substate.

A personalized shadow box is a wonderful way to commemorate a special occasion. Our samples celebrate a new baby and a wedding; they’d also be lovely as a Mother’s Day memory box or to mark a graduation milestone.

Do you loop a tape measure around your neck while sewing? This design capitalizes on the habit, turning a measuring tape into a mini caddy. Scissors on one end and a pincushion on the other – or customize the tools to you!

It’s a utilitarian, get-down-to-business style that works well for women, men, even kids. You’ll love the tough riveted canvas, zippered pocket, and a cool slide buckle belt that cinches in place at waist or hip level.

Got something to say? Make a messenger bag with a real message! We used iron-on letters to create our FACT-FICTION phrase. Button flap pockets and a cool closure are just the start of the hardworking, everyman/woman style.

One week and counting… it’s officially the Festival of the Last Minute. We’re right there with you and have put together a set of four nearly-no-sew projects that use Dritz hardware and tools to make the steps easy and the results outstanding. Here at Sew4Home, we’re all about inspiration. And because we all respond to different visions, styles, colors, and embellishments.… the more ideas the better!  We recently visited with our friends from Dritz Sewing at their headquarters in Spartanburg, South Carolina. There was inspiration around every corner, but we were especially excited to learn more about
One of the most satisfying things in the world of DIY is when you get to overcome the mystery of “how the heck do they do that?!” You know what we mean. You’re looking at a home décor item, thinking, “I really need one of those, but it is WAY too expensive for my budget.

Vibrant fabric accents look great against the bright color of the mesh and the gleaming nickel hardware. The mesh body lets sand and dirt sift out while at the same time allowing air to flow in and help dry out suits and towels.

A generously sized tote with an open top to make it easy to load and unload. The 5” boxed corners are a cool reverse, riveted style. And, we added a horizontal strap at the back to slip over the handle of rolling luggage.

Long the purview of over-dressed little boys, dapper accountants, and Bill Nye the Science Guy, we’re blasting out of the bow tie box. Unique fabrics and designs create 3 quirky, confident, and stylish ways to wear a bow tie.

This project features not one, not two, but three cute zippered pouch styles to hold life’s little necessities. We chose three specialty Dritz Labels to customize each pouch, and offer a free set of printable Mother’s Day floral gift tags as a finishing touch.

I’ve always loved overalls. When my kids were small, they were my rough-and-tumble choice for play clothes. But, they’re a personal favorite as well because they have such a comfy, loose fit. We often look to clothing items as initial inspiration for our apron projects, and knowing that Dritz had a great set of Overall

Special accents are the perfect touch for a professional bag finish. This terrific tote has rivets securing the straps, jean buttons on the side pockets, cool metal grommets, western style pocket flaps, and twin needle topstitching.

If you’re a Sew4Home regular, you know we don’t traditionally present a lot of projects in the wearables category. Of course, there are all our super popular aprons and a few other easy items, but in terms of fitted garments, we tend to leave those to other experts. However, that doesn’t mean we don’t love
