Here's a fast and fabulous Valentine's gift idea everyone will love, because it includes both adorable fabric and yummy candy. We created a cellophane bag topper from small fabric squares, stitched on a personalized message of love, and sealed it with a secret quick-release basting stitch. When it's finished its job as a bag topper,

These happy half aprons are made in pretty quilting weight cottons with trendy metallic accents. A secret to their perfect-partyness are the layers of colorful tulle. We have one size for big girls and one for their little helpers.

We were inspired to bring back this classic Halloween project not just because it's a fast and fun decorating idea for the upcoming spooky season, but also because we had a recent bat encounter. A pair of Little Brown Bats (that is actually what they're called - cute, but also scientific, I guess) flew in
There's nothing like a thick, snuggly blanket to make everything better. And, there's nothing easier than our blanket tutorial. Designed with little girls in mind, they can inject a bit of glamour into your lovely locks as well. The “petals” are made from small scraps of fancy fabrics held together with a tiny faceted bead. A nearly-no-sew project.

We were pondering a pillow one day, as we are often known to do, when a thought struck us. "This poor little pillow's so plain," we mused. "It needs a new look, a fresh take, a ... new wardrobe!" Thus was born a Sew4Home exclusive: the Pillow Jacket. It’s like an outfit for your pillow.
Everyone loves a fast and easy project, and these pretty pillowcases fit the bill! A new pillowcase is a great way to freshen a set of bed linens. Kids are especially happy to rest their sleepy heads on pillows covered in fun fabric. We originally used the Playful collection by Melody Miller for Cotton +
We're still playing with poms here at Sew4Home. After reviewing the Clover Pom Pom Makers, we couldn't quite shake the balls of fluff from our brains. For this project, we downsized, stringing mini 1" poms on cord to form a colorful garland, then looping the garland through a split ring to create a whimsical lanyard.
