We are very proud to once again be featured in the Handmade for the Home Kitchen column of Where Women Cook! We designed a brand new apron expressly for their readers. Tough canvas on the front with pretty cotton accents on the back, this classic cook’s apron has the style and substance to be at home in any hardworking kitchen. It is also available in our Sew4HomeShop on Etsy.
It’s so exciting for us to be able to reach out to a new audience. We know the Where Women Cook “foodies” already love the DIY aspects of creative meal preparation. Our job is to show them how much fun it can be to extend that creativity to sewing for the kitchen and table.
Paired with our project is our own recipe for an excellent stir-fry green bean side dish.
Our first column with Where Women Cook, in their Fall 2016 issue, highlighted our popular Soft & Stuffable Fabric Shopping Bags made from two layers of quilting cotton. Perfect when you’re out and about to pick up fresh ingredients for a special dinner.
We hope you’ll consider picking up the Spring issue Where Women Cook. If you do, please let them know you were happy to see your favorite sewing site as a contributor. We are big fans of the WWC community for their support of creativity in every corner and as a source of gorgeous inspiration on every page.
The issue was just released March 1st, 2017 so check your favorite newsstand for a copy or order directly from Where Women Cook.
