The last few months have brought good news to nine lucky Sew4Home fans. We really do enjoy hosting these Great Giveaways. With thousands of visitors coming into the site every day, giveaways are one of the ways we get to interact one-on-one and learn a little bit about you and your favorite sewing habits. Sew4Home fans and followers are such an interesting and diverse group! Even if your name is not one listed below this time around, please know how much we appreciate you!
Three Winners of a Moda Designer Roll and Aurifil 80wt Thread
To celebrate the Winter Solstice, we drew three winners (all of whom ended up being from California, which we thought was a bit of a hoot), each of whom received a beautiful Moda Designer Roll made up of dozens of 10” x 10” layer cake squares along with two spools of Aurifil’s new, super-fine 80wt cotton thread. Our winners were: Theresa Turner of South Lake Tahoe, CA who is recently retired and so finally has a bit of time to take advantage of all the ideas Sew4Home sends her way; Patti B of La Mesa, CA is someone who enjoys sewing just about everything and likes that our projects appeal to all ages; and Jeanette of Grizzly Flats, CA, a long time S4H follower who owns three Janome machines and is a fan of both our projects as well as all the handy tips and techniques. Congratulations one and all!
One Winner of our First Fave Project Great Giveaway
We were delighted to learn that the winner of this new Great Giveaway was celebrating a milestone birthday this year, so her prize became the kick-off to her birthday year celebration. Pat from West Yorkshire UK was our winner and received a box of beautiful Renaissance Ribbons as well as a handy Dritz Swivel Hook, both elements from our popular Maker’s Apron project. Congratulations, Pat!
Two Winners of Autographed Copies of our S4H Bags and Totes Book
In honor of International Women’s Day on March 8th, we gave away two autographed copies of our new book, Sew4Home Bags and Totes: 10 Easy, Fashionable Projects Anyone Can Sew. Adding to their sewing libraries were: Christine Hall of Beavercreek Township, OH who calls her sewing room “her happy place” where she loves to sew just about anything; and Gayle Fahrion of Evans, GA, a quilter in the modern style who is excited to branch out into some bags and totes. Congratulations, Christine and Gayle!
Three winners of Janome Pre-Quilted Panels for Free-Motion Practice
These pre-printed training panels generated so much interest! It seems like everyone is looking for a bit of help to perfect their free-motion quilting skills. The gorgeous new panels are pre-printed with some of the most popular free motion stitching patterns to use as practice guide lines. Our three soon-to-be free motion experts were: Lois from CA who claims she has never, ever won anything in a drawing… now she’s on a winning streak; Sari Graham of Longview, WA has a new granddaughter in the family and is having fun sewing baby clothes and toys, but is happy to take a break for a bit of quilting practice; and Barb from Georgetown, TX who quickly reeled off a long list of projects she's made from S4H tutorials, and who is delighted for this new help with her free motion skills. Congratulations to you all!
We thank each and every one of you who entered, as well as all our marvelous sponsors and friends who help provide these lovely prizes. When you support them, you support us.
As always, there are more fun opportunities to come. Stay tuned and stay creative. Your lucky day may be next.
