Holiday Great Giveaway 2019 - Our Gift To You

Printer-friendly versionPDF version

THIS GREAT GIVEAWAY CLOSED 01/10/2020. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATED.

We can’t imagine a better holiday present than all of you! So we’ve put together a little something to say, “Thanks for being the very best followers and friends.” This adorable box holds a few of our favorite things: fabric pre-cuts, thread spools, handy tools, and excellent notions – a little bit of everything to brighten up your sewing space for 2020… a new decade of sewing fun!

We did a quick calculation and the retail value of everything included added up to over $100! The winner will even receive the pretty box into which we’ve packed all the products.

It’s easy to enter; all the details are outlined below.

In addition, we’d love to hear from you in the comments section. This is totally optional and doesn’t increase or decrease your chances, but it does help us make sure our projects and sewing tutorials are on target with your habits and interests. If you can take a minute, leave us a short message about the type of projects we’ve done that have been your favorites over the past year, what you’d like to see in the future, and if there’s anything else on your wish list for 2020.

Thanks in advance for your input!

In 2020 I would like you to feature artists/sewers from the USA & Canada so we can get to know them and at the same time possibly do projects with them and delve deeper into the art & creation world.  Thanks for a great year & looking forward to an even better one this year!  Mary

This is a wonderful site, full of really helpful instructions and ideas. I read the newsletter avidly as soon as it arrives. I recently had a stroke and I'm still recovering so shopping at the moment is not possible. I would love to win this Giveaway and get back to my sewing again. Thank you very much.

Merry Christmas.  I have been coming to, and using your website more than any other sewing website I look at.  You have the best projects and the best instructions on how to use them. Thank you for always being here and blessing those of us who love to sew useful things.

Been with you guys for some years now.. and thought I was a member.  Strange.  But would just go on your site..and find my projects I was in the mood for.   I have made Valentine Owls, key chains, Stuffies.  Totes,  games for children, buckets. aprons,  napkins... I have 5 big notebook filler pages where I print the instructions, and the pattern.  A go to often, and one day my Daughter will want to make use of them.  I think you pretty much cover all projects I love, that will keep me coming back for more.  Thanks

Sew4home has been my “go to” for many projects I’ve made. Favorites include the fleece owl pillow with the big eyes, made several. Also the neck pillow is a fave of many friends. I also check the technique posts all the time- very helpful! I tell everyone about this site, especially the new sewers..they need all the help they can get and it’s all here. Future posts...maybe a week of new sewers projects so they aren’t discouraged and can finish quickly; machine embroidery basics are helpful too...it’s all good! Been us8ng this site going on 8 years, love it.

Umm... so many projects. In recent years I have tended to make some of the smaller ones. I think you could have a separate category for items that could be sold at a Guild boutique, such as water bottle holders, tissue box covers, name tags for luggage etc.

Thank you and Merry Christmas to all of you! I really like the variety of the projects on Sew4Home. I especially like the bags and boxes. I'd really like more paper piercing projects in 2020. I haven't done much of this type of sewing but would like to learn how. It would also be fun to have a monthly series...like seasonal mini quilts or mug rugs or something small along those lines. Thanks again for bringing us great tutorials!

Awesome.  Merry Christmas to the Sew4Home team.  Thanks for the great reference material anytime I'm looking for help on a project.  I would love a detailed tutorial on gathering fabric - both by gathering foot and by hand (pulling the bobbin string).  Thanks.

I always find what I want on the list of projects!  I look forward to the newsletters because you seem to come up with ideas I didn't know I wanted to make.  That you use Janome is a plus for me as I've learned about some accessories I wouldn't have otherwise used.  Your generosity is so appreciated.  Happy Holidays.
