Printer-friendly versionSend by emailPDF version

Our three most recent Great Giveaways generated shouts of glee from six lucky S4H fans and followers. Read on to find out who won what and a little tidbit of each of them. Thanks to everyone who entered, as well as to all our marvelous sponsors and friends who help provide these lovely prizes. When you support them, you support us.

Two Winners of the All About Autumn Layer Cake Bundles

We celebrated the change of seasons with the giveaway of two fall-themed layer cake collections. The winner of the flannel collection was Suzanne Richard or Oxnard, CA. Suzanne has been sewing since her teen years, and her interests are wide and varied, from period costumes to bags to aprons. Marianne from Lakewood Ranch, FL was the winner of the cotton collection. She commented that the fall bundle arrived with perfect timing, just as the mornings had begun to turn a tiny bit cooler in Florida. Congratulations Suzanne and Marianne!

One Winner of Aurifil Thread in a Fat Quarter Shop Sewing Tin

We celebrated Aurifil Thread’s 10th anniversary in the USA by collecting ten spools in different weights and packaging them in a collectible sewing tin from Fat Quarter Shop. The lucky winner was Patty Howe of Winfield, KS. Patty’s email back to us described how she is a recent cancer survivor. She was so thankful to receive this prize as a little bit of a reward for her hard-fought battle. “After I hug it, it will be put to use!” Congratulations, Patty!

Three Winners of Tim Holtz Fabric, Thread & Hardware

Friday, October 13th was particularly lucky for three Sew4Home followers. After a week of great project ideas in the new Coats Fabric collections from Tim Holtz, we put together three amazing packages of fabric, thread, and hardware. The first winner was Julia Perkins of Verbena, AL who was giddy with anticipation about receiving and using all her goodies – especially with holiday gift sewing right away the corner. The next name drawn at random was Wendy Lou of Missoula, MT, who claims that, in her late fifties, she is still learning to sew… and loving it. She turns to Sew4Home often not only for inspiration but also to help her improve her skills. The final winner was Marlene of Carmel, IN. She was excited about the included fat quarter bundle since one of her favorite things is making quilts to share with family and friends. Congratulations Julia, Wendy Lou, and Marlene!

As always, there are more fun opportunities to come. Stay tuned and stay creative. Your lucky day may be next.

Congratulations to the winners.  I started sewing again this past March and can't get enough of it.  I love sewing clothes and craft items. My newest thang I'm working on is Rag Quilting.
