It’s always fun to see how far and wide the Sew4Home inspiration reaches. As always, thanks to everyone who entered. Our visitors are like a big extended family to us, and we wish we could send prizes out to everyone. Instead, we’ll continue to do our best to provide you with the coolest projects that are the easiest and most fun to make! Read on to find out a little bit about our most recent Five Fabulous Winners.

FOUR Winners of the Metallic Embrace® Great Giveaway with Shannon Fabrics

With metallic accents, too much can overwhelm the fabric – too little and you can’t really see the glittering effect. The Shannon Fabrics Embrace® Metallics have just the right touches of sparkle in a variety of designs and colors, from whimsical pastels to bold boho motifs to simple geometrics. We loved working with Embrace® Metallics for our Double Gauze Curtain Panel with Side Ruffles, and were thrilled when Shannon Fabrics sent four 4-yard cuts for us to share with you! The first winner was Loreto Izquierdo of Malaga, Spain, who has her own YouTube channel about sewing and DIY and plans to make a video to show the project she creates with her new fabric. Winner number two was Melissa Morton from Scappoose, OR who took up sewing just a few years ago when she decided she needed, “a hobby that wasn’t going to get me killed or severely injured!” Oh my, Melissa… we hesitate to ask about your previous hobbies but are glad you’ve landed safely in sewing! The third winner of a 4-yard cut was Connie Robinson of Madison, OH who swears she’s always been in that group of people who never win anything – not any more, Connie, not any more. And, the final winner drawn at random was Nicole Ferguson of Mahtomedi, MN. At just 36 years old, Nicole taught herself to sew using online tutorials, including Sew4Home! Her favorite projects now are bags and totes. Congratulations Loreto, Melissa, Connie, and Nicole!

ONE Winner of the It’s Sew Emma Peppermint Lane Block of the Month Book

We love getting ready early for the holidays, and this new book from It’s Sew Emma, the sister site of Fat Quarter Shop, offers the perfect opportunity to get that jump start. Our lucky winner of some holiday magic was Kathy Kauth of Sundridge, Ontario, Canada. Kathy tells us she looks forward to our Sew4Home emails because they, “Always have something so interesting and inspiring to get you back into sewing when life can take you away from what you love to do.” What a great sentiment! Congratulations, Kathy!

Thanks again to everyone who entered, as well as to all our marvelous sponsors and friends who help provide these lovely prizes. When you support them, you support us… keeping our Giveaways extra Great!

There are always more opportunities to win ahead. In fact, there’s still time to enter to win our Memorial Day Mystery Box Great Giveaway.

Stay tuned and stay creative. Your lucky day may be next.
