Christmas in July Great Giveaway: FreeSpirit Fat Quarter Bundles

Printer-friendly versionPDF version

We hope this week’s projects have inspired you to jump into the Christmas in July sewing season. To further encourage your enthusiasm, we have TWO holiday themed fat quarter bundles from FreeSpirit Fabrics to give away. Each bundle contains 20 fat quarters (18” x 21” cuts) from a range of popular FreeSpirit classic Christmas collections as well as accompanying festive prints in coordinating colors and patterns.

Each FreeSpirit 20-piece bundle contains several different color palettes. We love working with the season's traditional reds and greens, but it’s great to be able to mix it up with some starry night blacks, ice blues, soft grays, and frosty whites. We also enjoy the eclectic mix of motifs within this bundle – from a snowflake woodcut to a dainty deer to handwritten greetings, and more. If you are brand new to working across collections, we have a great tutorial you can check out: Top 10 Sew4Home Designer Tips for Blending Colors and Prints.

This Giveaway runs from now through July 31st, and yes, we know that means the winners will be getting their bundles outside of the Christmas in July window. But if you’re a lucky winner and start your holiday sewing in August, chances are you’ll still be miles ahead of most of us! Remember the golden rule: The Secret of Getting Ahead is Getting Started!

A super high-five and thanks to our friends at FreeSpirit Fabrics for sending these beautiful bundles. Their fabric collections are always so lovely and endlessly creative. If these Giveaway bundles have piqued your interest, stayed tuned to S4H! We have projects coming up in both Tula Pink’s super fun Monkey Wrench and Jane Sassaman’s Nouveau

Freespirit fabrics and designs are wonderful!  Thanks for the reminder that it's never too early to get started on our holiday projects. (I make such an ambitious list every January. How did it get to be July already?)

What a wonderful selection of fabric! This would make the perfect Christmas present of a lap quilt for my elderly sister-in-law who can sadly no longer sew for herself. Thank you for the chance to win.
