Products We Love: Dritz Thread Cutter Caddy – You could win one!

Printer-friendly versionPDF version

We’ve never seen so much helpfulness and handiness in just 2” square inches of space! This new Thread Cutter Caddy from Dritz® is cute and compact, but still offers three different functions for cutting, carrying, and catching. Read on to see this mighty mini in action and enter to win one of your very own.

We all love solutions to make our sewing space more organized and functional. And, when they’re little and cute and a pretty aqua color, it makes it all the more fun.

There’s a sharp thread cutter groove at the center of the caddy’s handle that is perfect for slicing apart chain pieced fabrics.

But of course you can use it to quickly and smoothly cut any loose threads.

The center basket is approximately 2” x 2¼” x 1” – just the right size to hold a spool of thread, thimbles, buttons, needles, even a rolled up measuring tape. The overall size of the caddy is about 2¼” x 2¼” x 2”.

Both sides are magnetic to catch pins and needles.

The little handle makes it easy to move the caddy around your sewing surface so it’s always handy. But there are also four non-skid discs on the bottom, one in each corner, so the caddy stays put when that’s what you want.

Check out the video below to see the Dritz Thread Cutter Caddy in live action. It’s arriving soon to your favorite in-store or online retailer, such as Amazon and Fat Quarter Shop.

This would be so handy right now. I'm working up a list of sewing notions to buy and leave at my mom's house along with a small sewing machine I was just gifted with. I go home to take care of her a couple times a month and spend three or four days. Now that I have a machine I can leave there, I can bring small projects to work on. Thanks for the opportunity to win!

I haven't seen this little notion in the local stores where I shop, yet.  I hope to because it would be a handy to have when I am hand stitching.  Thanks for the giveaway!

Oooh!  I love it!  Just the best thing for those things we do by hand as well as staying handy by the machine!  And in my favorite color, too!  Maybe it would also keep my cat from pushing my thimble off the desk, too.
