We were all instantly charmed by this truly gorgeous and stylish collection. We received a layer cake to review and had so much fun mixing the prints for seemingly endless variations and always-beautiful results. We had idea after idea for what we could make with this fabric. From quilts and throws, to pillows and apparel for girls of any age, to aprons, adorable summer bags and totes... see for yourself.

BasicGrey has done it again! Another divine collection for Moda Fabrics. The prints are trendy, yet have a charming vintage feel; add the grunge prints (which are like a solid with texture) to increase dimension and focus in your projects. We show some of the prints in the image above and in the layer cake images below, however, this is a big collection.

To see every print go here.

In addition to yardage – or fabric on the bolt, Hello Luscious! has a full selection of precuts. For those who are unfamiliar with precuts, they are "pre-cut" sizes that are designed to reduce the time you spend cutting fabric. It's also a way to purchase an entire collection without a taking out a bank loan. To learn more about precuts, read our article Jelly Rolls to Layer Cakes: A Lesson in Fabric Precuts.

Hello Luscious! Precuts

Hello Luscious! is available in Fat Quarter Bundles, Fat Eight Bundles, Jelly Rolls, Charm Packs and Layer Cakes.

We mixed and matched some of the 10" x 10" layer cake squares to show off some of the beautiful print combinations we made. This is only a tiny fraction of the ways you can blend these prints.

Where to Buy Hello Luscious!

Just out in February, Hello Luscious! is just beginning to show up in fabric shops.

  • Fat Quarter Shop carries the full line of yardage and precuts. You can see it here.
  • Fabric.com

We'll add to this list as the fabric hits more shops.

Finding Fabric

If you see a particular fabric online you like, you can check your favorite fabric source to find out if they have it in stock or can get it for you. Be sure to look at our Shopping Directory for our fave sources. You can also try Googling the fabric name along with the designer's name or the design house, for example: "Hello Luscious" and Moda Fabrics. Prints from older collections can sometimes be found on Etsy or eBay. If you love a fabric, get it while you can. Because, like fashionable apparel, popular fabrics come and go; at some point, even the most amazing fabrics are no longer in stores or online.

I too have never been disappointed with Moda fabrics. In fact, that's my first stop when beginning a new project.

Sew4Home is where I go for inspiration!

OMG! I absolutely love these. Basic Grey is my favorite scrapbooking papers and to have those prints now available in fabric for so many other projects is really awesome. Thank you!

@ Amy B: The Hello Luscious is all quilting weight cotton, no flannel. It would be pretty in flannel, though, wouldn't it.

I love the fabrics from BasicGrey, especially the "grunge" fabrics. Lucious is beautiful.

I bought a couple of charm packs of Hello Luscious earlier this month from Fat Quarter Shop and I love it. I used the charms to make pinwheel blocks, which will eventually be pieced into a queen size quilt once I figure out what my sashing and layout for the blocks. Really delightful fabrics to work with!
