Thank you for purchasing the Sporty Sling Backpack kit as part of our recent Box Corners Webinar with Sulky. You’ve landed at the correct page to download all the instructions and patterns you need to create your own backpack.

We’re glad you enjoyed the Webinar we did with our friends at Sulky, and we’re excited for you to put your newfound corner skills into practice with this fun project.

Thanks to its deep boxed corners, our versatile Sporty Sling Backpack is roomy enough for toting items to the gym, carrying sewing or knitting supplies to class, traveling on an airplane or simply using as your favorite everyday bag.

A single broad strap at the center back makes it fast and easy to loop over your shoulder and super comfortable to carry.

Two zippered pockets at the front and back of the bag hold smaller items.

It features a grommet-and-cording top for a cinched closure covered with a flap.

Skill level: Advanced Beginner

Downloading and Printing Information

There are are THREE password-protected PDF files included with this kit.

You will need Adobe Reader installed on your computer to view the files. The files can be printed on either US Letter paper or A4 paper, using Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Adobe Reader can be downloaded free of charge. Click here for all the details

The first file contains a cover page, all the steps, and all the full-color instructional photos – this file is great for viewing on your computer or other digital device to fully understand the construction process (16 pages to print).

The second file is condensed to only the steps (all photos removed) to make printing even more efficient (5 pages to print).

The third file is just the pattern pieces (5 pages to print). Separating out the pattern pieces is especially helpful, allowing you to just print these and refer to your computer or other digital device for all instructions.

If you are brand new to to working with PDF patterns, Sew4Home.com offers a tutorial on printing and assembling PDF patterns that you can access for free. Click here to go to the tutorial.

If you have trouble with the file downloads, you can reach out to us directly via email: info@sew4home.tnotw.com. Please put Webinar Files in the subject line so we can spot the message and reply as quickly as possible.

I have the purchase the Sporty Sling Backpack Kit last year. I decided to make the kit yesterday for my daughter for the school of 2020. I went to the website that is on the piece of paper included with the kit, and when it came to putting in the password, it would not accept it. Can you please help me?
