Stocking stuffer alert! These adorable tissue covers are super fast and easy to make, and everyone needs a tissue now and then to dab away a tear, capture a sneeze or wipe up a mess. The ongoing Re-imagine & Renovate Series is our way to show you how easy it is to put a new spin on a fave design. Different fabric and notions can completely change the look of a project. For each of our three samples, we used two 10″ x 10″ Layer Cake squares, making this a great ScrapBusters project.

We chose a holiday theme, pulling all six of our fabrics from the Sentiments collection by 3 Sisters for Moda Fabrics. Mix and match your fabric, binding, and decorative stitching to create a bundle of covers in no time, each one unique and personalized for its recipient. We easily whipped up all of ours in just a couple hours.

Decorative stitching adds a beautiful touch along the opening of the cover.

If you’re looking for layer cakes to create an assembly line of tissue covers, take a browse through the selection at Dinkydoo Fabrics. They offer a lots of great pre-cut options in the 10″ x 10″ Layer Cake sizes as well as all your other favorite pre-cuts. A few favorites we spied were from Cotton + Steel. Top to bottom: Clover Layer Cake, Cat Lady Layer Cake and Zephyr Layer Cake.
