As we roll into the final days before Christmas, we’re taking a moment to step away from our sewing machines to bring you something a little different – something we hope might become a new tradition for the holidays. We wrote a little story and designed a pretty book to go along with the adorable illustrations from Lil’ Rascals by Chole’s Closet – a 2011 fabric collection from Moda that we used a number of years back for a Storybook Bedroom project series (project links below). We offer the book below as a free download. Reading with the children in your life is one of the very best experiences you can give them… and yourself! We hope you enjoy sharing the adventures of Lil’ Benny, who loses his blanket but finds some very special friends.

Download The Book: Benny Loses His Blanket

We created our book as a .PDF file. Click the image below to download. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, which is a free program.

We’ve minimized the file size, but please be patient with the download process. In addition, make sure you have the latest version of Acrobat Reader DC, and the latest version of your printer driver. Adobe does always recommend a re-start of your computer with any update.

If you are experiencing printing issues, you can try the Print as Image option in your printer’s browser window. This option is often under the Advanced tab. You can also save the downloaded PDF to your computer and print from there.
