Click to Read MoreBenjamin Franklin said "fatigue is the best pillow." Maybe so, but I prefer a standard size, medium loft down pillow.

If you're buying bed pillows, don't assume you have to stick to queen or king size pillows just because you have a queen or king size bed. Often, people sleep better on a standard size pillow. If that's the case, and you have a king or queen size bed, just use three or four standards rather than two king or queen size pillows.

The average person spends about one third of their life in bed. Be comfortable!

Standard Pillow Sizing

If you are buying queen pillow cases, you'll notice that not all bedding companies make them. In that case, choose a standard pillow case.

All sizes below are in inches.

  • Standard (or twin): 20 x 26
  • Queen: 20 x 30
  • King: 20 x 36
