I really like these pillows, but summer is coming and I want something brighter and more seasonal.

Rather than purchase 2 more inserts (these are 50/50 down-feather inserts) at $18 each, I will simply unzip the pillow cover, remove the inserts and reuse them. That's $36 plus shipping I don't have to spend. AND, I only need to store the cover.

If your pillow cover is worn or just plain ugly, simply toss the old cover in your scrap box and use the insert with a new cover in a wonderful fabric that brings new life to your room.

this is why I never post ideas, I know if I have though of it others would have too... a few years ago as I was storing my 5 living room pillows to for my 7 Christmas pillows (I have a huge plastic bin to store these pillows), I thought this is nuts, going forward I would never buy pillows or forms...I will just make covers for the forms I have and can then store the clean, flat pillow slips when not in use. I can then use the huge bin for something else!
