773! That's how many comments we logged for this lovely little prize package from Joanna Figueroa of Fig Tree Quilts. We were impressed by all of you who wanted to share your favorite parts of the quilting process. The most common answer? "I love every part of it!" Another frequent response was how you love to watch a smile spread across the face of the person receiving your handmade quilt. Beautiful! The lucky winner of this Great Giveaway was Lisa V. from The Woodlands, Texas just north of Houston. Lisa is 32 years old and rediscovering sewing. With two small children and a full-time job, she doesn't always have a lot of time to spare, but when she does... she loves to grab one of the easy project ideas right here on Sew4Home. Her randomly selected comment about her favorite part of quilting was: "That moment when you realize you are done and step back and admire the finished product. At that point, you forget the ripped out stitches, the snagged fabric and finger pricks." Lisa's gift package includes a lovely selection of Butterscotch & Rose quilting cuts, plus FOUR great patterns: the Stems quilt pattern, which is great for 2½" Jelly Roll strips; the My Log Cabin quilt pattern, which is wonderful for 1½" Honey Bun strips; plus the Notions to Go caddy and Pillow Duet - both of which are 5" Charm Pack friendly. Our thanks to Joanna Figueroa of Fig Tree Quilts for providing this lovely prize and to Moda for originally providing the Butterscotch & Rose fabric for the trio of pretty piped pillows we made: Congratulations again to Lisa, and thanks to everyone who entered. Stay tuned; there are always many more Great Giveaways right around the corner.
